In Miranda vs Arizona, Miranda was arrested in his own house after being identified by a complaining witness. He was then interrogated for two hours and he signed a paper to go to court. He was charged guilty for rape and kidnapping. He was due for 20-30 years in prison. His rights were not violated because they did get a search warrant.
